Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition Launched in India With Kit Worth Rs 31,999

The Indian division of the Japanese automaker Toyota has today launched the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition in India. The prices of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder starts from Rs 10.94 lakh (ex-showroom). The limited-run Aero Edition of this SUV has been introduced with a body kit that adds a dose of personalisation to this SUV’s design.

The Aero Edition of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder costs Rs 31,999 over the regular variants of this car. This special edition of the SUV comes with a front spoiler, rear spoiler and side skirts. It’s available across all variants of this SUV and it is being offered in four colour options - White, Silver, Black and Red.

To sum it up, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition gets only cosmetic updates and at the mechanical and features level there are no changes to this SUV. Toyota continues to offer it with the same set of powertrains - a 1.5L mild-hybrid powertrain, a 1.5L strong-hybrid powertrain, there is also a CNG version on offer. According to the company the Hyryder strong-hybrid version can operate on electric power for up to 60 percent of the drive time, returning a claimed fuel efficiency of up to 27.97 kmpl. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is a popular SUV in the Indian market and it also shares its underpinnings with the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Victoris.

Toyota has also shared that it is offering a standard 3-year/1,00,000 km warranty, extendable to 5 years/2,20,000 km and an 8-year/1,60,000 km warranty on the hybrid battery on the Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
