Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive has achieved a new global feat with the F77 Mach 2 becoming the first Indian production motorcycle to complete a lap of the legendary Isle of Man TT. This achievement was recorded on June 6th 2026, with 3 F77 Mach 2 motorcycles taking on the iconic 60.72km (37.72-mile) circuit.

This accomplishment marks another step in the Bengaluru-based manufacturer's international expansion plans and puts an Indian-developed electric motorcycle on one of the most demanding and revered stages in the world of motorcycling.

Ultraviolette F77 Completes Completes Isle of Man TT Lap

For the record-setting run, Ultraviolette deployed three F77 Mach 2 motorcycles on the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course, a circuit known for its fast sections, narrow public roads, elevation changes and technical corners. The course has historically been regarded as one of the toughest tests for both riders and machines.

Riders included the former Isle of Man TT winner James Hillier, actor and motorcycle enthusiast Ranvijay Singha and multiple-time Indian racing champion Abhishek Vasudev. By completing the lap, the F77 has become the first Indian production motorcycle to achieve the feat.

For Ultraviolette, this latest milestone adds to its international credentials. The company says the F77 is currently the only Indian electric two-wheeler certified for sale in the United Kingdom and 18 other European countries, supporting its plans to strengthen its presence in overseas markets.
