VinFast has increased the prices of its electric SUVs in India once again. The Vietnamese carmaker has revised the prices of both the VF 6 and VF 7 with immediate effect, marking the second price hike for the VF 6 in less than a year. The latest revision comes as the company continues to expand its presence in the Indian electric vehicle market.

VinFast VF 6 Price Hiked By Rs 90,000
The VinFast VF 6 has become more expensive by Rs 90,000 across all three variants - Earth, Wind and Wind Infinity. Following the latest revision, the electric SUV is now priced between Rs 18.19 lakh and Rs 20.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
The VF 6 was launched in India in September last year. Its introductory pricing ended in January 2026, after which VinFast implemented its first price increase. The latest revision is therefore the second price hike for the model since its launch.
VinFast VF 7 Gets Up to Rs 1.13 Lakh More Expensive
The larger VF 7 has also received a price revision. Depending on the variant, prices have increased by Rs 1.10 lakh to Rs 1.13 lakh.
The VinFast VF 7 now starts at Rs 22.99 lakh, while the top-spec version is priced at Rs 28.09 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric SUV is offered in five variants and gets both single-motor and dual-motor powertrain options.
The VF 7 measures around 4.5 metres in length and is available with a 70kWh battery pack in its higher-spec configuration.
VinFast Expanding its India Line-up
VinFast currently sells the VF 6, VF 7 and VF MPV 7 in India. The company has also been spotted testing the VF 5 on Indian roads, suggesting that the smaller electric SUV could be added to its India portfolio in the future.
Alongside expanding its model range, VinFast is working on increasing its retail network and charging infrastructure across the country. The latest price revisions come as the company looks to strengthen its position in India's growing electric SUV market.
