Vinfast VF6 Electric SUV Launched in India: Check Price, Battery, Range, Features, Safety and More
VinFast has launched the VF6 electric SUV in India, priced at Rs 16.49 lakh for the base variant. This model introduces the brand to the premium compact EV market and is available in three variants: Earth, Wind, and Wind Infinity. All variants feature a 59.6 kWh battery, with ranges of up to 468 km. Performance varies, with the Wind variant delivering 201.1 bhp. Vietnamese automaker VinFast officially launched the VF6 electric SUV in India at an introductory price of Rs 16.49 lakh ex-showroom. The model marks the company’s entry into the premium compact EV space in the country. The VF6 will be available in three variants – Earth, Wind and Wind Infinity.

VinFast VF6: Price and Variants
The VF6 Earth has been introduced at an ex-showroom price of Rs 16.49 lakh, while the VF6 Wind is priced at Rs 17.79 lakh. The top-spec VF6 Wind Infinity comes at Rs 18.29 lakh. All three versions use the same 59.6 kWh battery pack and front-wheel-drive setup.

The VF6 is equipped with a 59.6 kWh battery pack that supports fast charging from 10 to 70 percent in about 25 minutes. According to ARAI certification, the Earth variant delivers a range of up to 468 km, while the Wind and Wind Infinity variants offer a range of up to 463 km on a single charge.

The Vinfast VF6 Earth comes with a peak power output of 174 bhp and 250 Nm of torque and is paired with an independent rear suspension. The VF6 Wind delivers higher performance with 201.1 bhp and 310 Nm of torque, the EV maker claims that the VF6 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.9 seconds. The VF6 Wind Infinity shares the same specifications as the Wind but adds a panoramic fixed glass roof.

On the inside, the VF6 Earth features an all-black cabin with a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, automatic climate control, powered driver seat and cruise control. The VF6 Wind comes with mocca brown interiors, vegan leather upholstery, ventilated front seats and dual-zone AC with PM 1.0 filtration. It also offers an 8-speaker audio system, head-up display, adaptive cruise control and more Level 2 ADAS functions, along with 18-inch alloy wheels. The Wind Infinity further enhances the package with a large panoramic glass roof.

In terms of safety, the VF6 gets seven airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, traction control, hill start assist and all-disc brakes Standard features across all variants. Additionally, it also comes with a 360-degree surround view monitor, rain-sensing wipers, LED projector headlamps with DRLs, connected car technology, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Ownership Benefits
VinFast has announced that VF6 owners will get free charging at VGreens stations until July 2028. In addition, the company is offering three years of free maintenance. A complimentary curtain will also be provided for the panoramic glass roof on applicable variants.
