VinFast has launched the VF7 electric SUV in India with introductory prices starting at Rs 20.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The model is offered in five variants with two battery options, two interior colours, FWD and AWD drivetrains and Level 2 ADAS features. The VF7 measures more than 4.5 metres in length and has a wheelbase of 2,840 mm.

Vinfast VF7: Battery, Power and Range
The VF7 Earth is powered by a 59.6 kWh battery that supports a motor generating 174.3 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It has an ARAI-certified range of 438 km on a single charge and can be charged from 10 to 70 percent in about 24 minutes.
The VF7 Wind is fitted with a larger 70.8 kWh battery pack, producing 201.1 bhp and 310 Nm of torque. It offers a certified range of 532 km and company claims that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 9.5 seconds.

The VF7 Sky variant features a dual-motor system delivering 348.6 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. This setup provides AWD capability and enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.8 seconds, with a certified range of 510 km. The Wind Infinity and Sky Infinity models add a fixed panoramic glass roof as an additional feature.

Standard features across all VF7 models include 19-inch alloy wheels, LED projector headlamps with auto levelling, a coloured head-up display, rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone automatic climate control and cruise control. The cabin is equipped with a 12.9-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Safety equipment includes seven airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, traction control, hill start assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a 360-degree camera. The SUV also comes with multiple drive and regeneration modes. Level 2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and driver monitoring are included.

VinFast has introduced the VF7 electric SUV in India with five variants. The VF7 Earth is priced at Rs 20.89 lakh, while the VF7 Wind is listed at Rs 23.49 lakh. The VF7 Wind Infinity costs Rs 23.99 lakh, the VF7 Sky is priced at Rs 24.99 lakh, and the VF7 Sky Infinity is available at Rs 25.49 lakh. All prices are introductory and ex-showroom. The company officially launched the model in India on September 6, 2025.

Vinfast India: Charging and Partnerships
To support ownership, VinFast has partnered with RoadGrid, myTVS and Global Assure for charging infrastructure and after-sales services. It has also joined hands with BatX Energies for battery recycling.
Vinfast India: Dealer Network and Manufacturing
VinFast has outlined its plans to establish 35 dealerships and 26 workshops across 27 cities in India by the end of 2025. These locations will cover major metros and EV-focused regions such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi and Lucknow. Both the VF6 and VF7 will be assembled at the company’s facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. The manufacturing plant, located close to the port, is positioned to serve both domestic demand and export markets.
