Ducati Unveils New Carbon and Carbon Pro Trims for Panigale V4 S: Check Details
Italian automaker, Ducati has unveiled two new trims for the Ducati Panigale V4 S which was recently launched in India. The two new trims are namely Carbon and Carbon Pro which have been designed to improve performance and reduce weight of the superbike.
The Carbon trim features carbon fibre components that contribute to weight reduction and increased agility including five-spoke carbon fibre rims, carbon fibre mudguards, and carbon fibre winglets. Additionally, the new carbon fibre rims are 1 kg lighter than the forged rims on the standard Panigale V4 S. Moreover, the reduction in weight decreases inertia.
Furthermore, the Carbon Pro trim builds upon the Carbon trim by adding improvements to the braking system, equipping the bike with Brembo T-Drive discs at the front, the same discs used in Ducati’s World Superbike race machines. In addition to the carbon fibre winglets, mudguards, and rims which enhance the aesthetic appeal as wheel as cut down weight, the Carbon Pro includes an MCS 19.21 front brake pump, improving braking efficiency.
The Carbon and Carbon Pro trims of the Ducati Panigale V4 S are powered by a 1,103cc V4 engine that produces 214 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 120.9 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox, which is the same as the standard Ducati Panigale V4 S. Moreover, the bike is equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter.
