Triumph Launches Limited Edition Rocket 3 Models Globally To Honor Evel Knievel

Triumph Motorcycles has launched the limited-edition variants of the Rocket 3 gloablly, taking inspirations from the legendary stunt performer Evel Knievel. The limited edition "Evil Knievel" is being Offered in R and GT variants of Rocket 3. Globally, the Rocket 3 R Evel Knievel Edition is priced from $27,495 (Rs 23,58,520) ex-showroom, while the GT trim starts at $28,295 (Rs 24,27,588) ex-showroom. With only 250 units of each variant will be produced.

These limited Edition models feature graphics reminding of Knievel’s signature jumpsuit. Visually, the bikes get chrome-finished fuel tanks, black stripes, stars and a special start-up animation. Each model also includes a gold laser-etched cam cover plate displaying Knievel's logo. Owners of these limited edition motorcycles will receive a hardback book detailing Evel Knievel’s career and his association with Triumph motorcycles during his iconic stunts.

The limited-edition of Triumph Rocket 3 models remain mechanically the same as their standard counterparts. Both the R and GT variants are powered by a 2458 cc, Liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder engine that puts out 180 bhp and 255 Nm of torque mated to a 6 speed gearbox.

The Rocket 3 R is a roadster motorcycle with a minimalist approach, on the other hand the GT is more of a cruiser motorcycle that features a taller flyscreen, forward-set footpegs and a pillion grab rail.

In terms of features, the limited-edition models retain the advanced features of the standard Rocket 3, including a full-color TFT display, riding modes, cornering ABS, cruise control and LED lighting. Optional upgrades include Bluetooth connectivity, quickshifters, luggage systems and more.
