Mahindra Thar Roxx Deliveries Begin On Dussehra; Bookings Open October 3

Mahindra will open bookings for the Thar Roxx on October 3, 2024, both online and at dealerships. Test drives are scheduled to start on September 14, 2024, and deliveries will begin on Dussehra, allowing customers to receive their SUVs in time for the festive season.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx comes with two engine options: a 2.0L mStallion turbo-petrol and a 2.2L mHawk turbo-diesel. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The turbo-petrol engine produces 160 bhp and 330 Nm of torque with the manual transmission, while the automatic version boosts these figures to 175 bhp and 380 Nm. The diesel variant generates 150 bhp and 330 Nm with the manual and 173 bhp and 370 Nm with the automatic.

Mahindra Thar Roxx will be available in seven color options—Stealth Black, Tango Red, Everest White, Deep Forest, Nebula, Battleship Grey and Burnt Sienna—the Thar Roxx features a black roof across all variants.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Key features include a 60:40 split rear seat, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, powered seats, two sunroof options, connected car technology, Level-2 ADAS, acoustic glass, a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and a 360-degree parking camera. For off-road capabilities, it includes crawl control, intelliturn assist and selectable terrain control modes.

In terms of dimensions, the Thar Roxx is 4,428 mm long, 1,870 mm wide, and 1,923 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. The fuel tank capacity is 57 liters, and the boot space is 447 liters. The approach, breakover, and departure angles are 41.7 degrees, 36.1 degrees, and 23.9 degrees, respectively, with a water-wading depth of 650 mm.
