Tata Aeris vs Maruti Suzuki Dzire Spec Comparison: What's Different?

Tata Motors today launched the Aeris in the country as a successor to the Tigor with revised design, features, safety and a lower price tag than its predecessor. The Tata Aeris has been launched in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 5.29 lakh to Rs 9.74 lakh.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is available in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 6.60 lakh to Rs 9.53 lakh.

The Tata Aeris measures 3,995mm in length, 1,684mm in width, 1,532mm in height and has a wheelbase spanning 2,450mm.

The Tata Aeris is offered with a 1.2L 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 85bhp and 113Nm of torque. The Aeris is offered with multiple transmission options including 5-speed MT and AMT.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is offered with a 1.2L 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 80bhp and 111.7Nm of torque. The Dzire is offered with multiple transmission options including 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT.

Both these cars are offered with factory-fitted CNG options which are available in MT and AMT trims.

The Tata Aeris sports features like a 10.24-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 5-inch digital instrument cluster, dashcam with recording, ventilated front seats, front centre armrest with storage, cooled glovebox, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging for 2 devices, leatherette upholstery, rear AC vents, 6-speaker audio system, iTPMS, paddle shifters (AMT), connected car features and more.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire sports features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, single-pane sunroof, rear AC vents, wireless charging, connected car features and more.

In terms of safety the Tata Aeris comes equipped with 6-airbags, 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring for both sides, hill hold, ESP with traction control, ABS with EBD and CSC, ISOFIX mounts and more.
