With the recent launch of the updated Tata Punch EV facelift in India, the electric SUV segment has gained another refreshed option in the sub-4 metre category. The model now comes with revised styling, updated battery packs and expanded feature availability. In comparison, the MG Windsor EV is positioned as a larger electric SUV with higher battery capacity and a different pricing structure under its battery subscription plan. Tata Punch EV vs MG Windsor EV: Price and Battery Subscription
The MG Windsor EV is priced from Rs 9.99 lakh under its BaaS plan, with battery rental charges of Rs 3.9 per kilometre. Without the battery subscription model, the Windsor EV is priced from Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Punch EV vs MG Windsor EV: Dimensions
The Tata Punch EV measures 3,880 mm in length, 1,742 mm in width and 1,622 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,445 mm. It has an unladen ground clearance of 195 mm and a boot space of 366 litres.
The MG Windsor EV measures 4,295 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width (excluding mirrors) and 1,677 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2,700 mm and unladen ground clearance is 186 mm. Boot capacity is 604 litres in the 38 kWh version and 579 litres in the 52.9 kWh version.

The Tata Punch EV facelift is available with 30 kWh and 40 kWh battery packs. The 30 kWh version has an ARAI-claimed range of 365 km, while the 40 kWh version has an ARAI-claimed range of 468 km. The stated real-world C75 range is approximately 260–275 km for the 30 kWh battery and 335–355 km for the 40 kWh battery.
The MG Windsor EV is offered with 38 kWh and 52.9 kWh battery options. The 38 kWh version has a claimed range of 332 km, while the 52.9 kWh version has a claimed range of 449 km.

The Tata Punch EV features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster in higher variants. It offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, wireless charging and a 360-degree camera, depending on variant.
The MG Windsor EV is available with either a 10.1-inch or 15.6-inch infotainment display and a 7-inch or 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. The Tata Punch EV comes with six airbags as standard, along with electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The MG Windsor EV also offers six airbags and electronic stability program. Additional features include hill hold assist, hill descent control, 360-degree camera, electric parking brake, auto hold and tyre pressure monitoring system.
