BMW Motorrad India has introduced the new S 1000 R roadster in the Indian market. The motorcycle is being offered as a completely built-up unit (CBU). Bookings have opened at all BMW Motorrad dealerships across the country. The starting price of the new BMW S 1000 R is Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices may vary depending on optional packages and dealer location.
BMW S 1000 R Colour Options
The motorcycle is available in three colour schemes:
- Blackstorm Metallic
- Bluefire/Mugiallo Yellow (offered only with Style Sport package)
- Lightwhite Uni/M Motorsport (offered only with M package)
2025 BMW S 1000 R: Engine and Performance
The BMW S 1000 R is powered by a 999 cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It produces 167.6 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 9,250 rpm. BMW claims that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph (electronically limited). Compared to the previous version, engine output has increased by 5 hp. The linear torque curve has been tuned for improved rideability. An optional M Endurance chain with shorter gearing is also available.
