The 2026 Kia Seltos, launched in January, has achieved a 5-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP crash tests, demonstrating exceptional protection for adult and child passengers. It scored 31.70 out of 32 points in Adult Occupant Protection and 45 out of 49 points Child Occupant Protection.

2026 Kia Seltos Secures 5-Star Safety Rating in Bharat NCAP Crash Tests
Kia’s popular compact SUV, Seltos has secured 5-star safety ratings in recent Bharat NCAP crash tests. The Seltos is currently in its second generation and the latest iteration of this SUV was launched in the Indian market earlier this year in January 2026. The result of the recent Bharat NCAP crash test indicates that the new Seltos offers top notch protection for both adult and child occupants.

2026 Kia Seltos Bharat NCAP: Adult Occupant Protection
The crash test data shared on Bharat NCAP website for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) indicate that the 2026 Seltos has scored 31.70 out of 32 points. The Seltos scores 15.70 out of 16 points in the frontal offset deformable barrier test. In the side movable deformable barrier test the Seltos scored 16 out of 16 points. The new Seltos also complied with side pole impact requirements.
2026 Kia Seltos Bharat NCAP: Child Occupant Protection
The crash test data shared on Bharat NCAP website for Child Occupant Protection (COP) indicate that the 2026 Seltos has scored 45 out of 49 points. Here the Seltos scored 24 out of 24 points in dynamic testing and 12 out of 12 points for CRS installation. It is equipped with ISOFIX points with i-Size child restraint systems.
The 2026 Kia Seltos comes equipped with safety features like - 6-airbags, ESC, ABS, hill start assist, rear parking sensors with camera, Level-2 ADAS with 21 features and more.
Kia is also set to showcase the second-generation Seltos at the upcoming New York International Auto Show on April 1st 2026.
