2026 Mercedes-Benz GLB Unveiled, Set to Launch in Spring 2026
German automaker, Mercedes-Benz has recently launched its new fully electric compact SUV, the GLB, offering up to 631 km of WLTP range and available as either a five or seven-seater. In addition to that, the company states that the German customers can configure and order the vehicle from December 8, 2025.
The automaker will launch two initial variants in spring 2026: the 200 kW GLB 250+ with EQ Technology, priced from €59,048 (approximately Rs 61.80 lakh), and the 260 kW GLB 350 4MATIC with EQ Technology, starting at €62,178 (approximately Rs 65 lakh).

In addition to that, the new GLB runs on Mercedes-Benz’s in-house MB.OS operating system and features the fourth-generation MBUX infotainment system with an optional Superscreen spanning the dashboard. The virtual assistant integrates AI from both Microsoft and Google, enabling conversational interactions and navigation powered by Google Maps.
Moreover, the new GLB compared to the outgoing EQB gains 60 mm in wheelbase and offers increased interior space, with up to 68 mm of additional legroom in the second row. Not only that but the boot capacity reaches 540 litres in the five-seater variant, while a 127-litre front boot is the largest in the model family. Additionally, the electric GLB can tow up to two tonnes, while hybrid variants with 48-volt technology are expected to follow later in 2026.

Furthermore, both models feature an 85-kWh lithium-ion battery and 800-volt architecture enabling DC charging at up to 320 kW, with the company claiming up to 260 km of range can be added in 10 minutes. The GLB 250+ accelerates from 0–100 kmph in 7.4 seconds, while the all-wheel-drive GLB 350 4MATIC completes the sprint in 5.5 seconds. Both variants reach a top speed of 210 kmph.
