2027 Triumph Tiger 1200 Revealed Ahead of Global Debut on October 27

Triumph has released an initial image of the motorcycle but has not disclosed its complete specifications. The company is expected to reveal details including power, torque, equipment and variant-wise features during the global premiere later this month.

The updated Tiger 1200 will continue with a three-cylinder engine, with Triumph confirming revisions aimed at increasing performance and refinement. Exact engine specifications have not yet been announced.

The current Tiger 1200 uses a 1,160cc three-cylinder engine with a T-Plane crankshaft. In its existing specification, the engine produces 148 bhp and 130 Nm. The 2027 model is expected to get changes to the powertrain, although the final output figures will be confirmed at the global reveal.

Triumph has also confirmed updates to the Tiger 1200's suspension system. The company says the new motorcycle will feature its most sophisticated suspension system fitted to a Triumph motorcycle so far.

The first image of the motorcycle shows a radar sensor positioned at the front. This indicates that the new Tiger 1200 will continue to use advanced rider assistance technology.

The current Tiger 1200 is available with radar-assisted features on select versions. The new model is expected to get an updated electronic package, although Triumph has not confirmed the complete list of rider assistance features yet.

The 2027 Tiger 1200 retains the overall adventure motorcycle design of the current model but gets revised bodywork. The images released by Triumph show changes to the front section and other styling elements. The motorcycle has also been seen in testing, including during Triumph ambassador Sam Sunderland's round-the-world record attempt.

Triumph will officially unveil the 2027 Tiger 1200 on October 27th 2026. The motorcycle will subsequently be showcased at EICMA and Motorcycle Live. The company has not announced the India launch date of the updated Tiger 1200. If Triumph follows its existing product rollout strategy, the new motorcycle could arrive in India after its international launch.
