Ceer Exobot Sedan and SUV Revealed as Saudi EV Maker Enters Passenger Car Market
Saudi Arabia is advancing its electric vehicle ambitions with the introduction of Ceer, its first domestic EV brand. The company has launched two models, the Exobot sedan and SUV, which are designed to support the nation's Vision 2030 automotive goals.

Saudi Arabia is making a bigger push into the electric vehicle industry with the launch of its first homegrown passenger EV brand, Ceer. The company has unveiled its first two models, the Exobot sedan and SUV, as part of the country’s wider plans to build an automotive manufacturing ecosystem under Saudi Vision 2030.

The Exobot sedan measures 5.26 metres in length, 2.1 metres in width and 1.43 metres in height. The SUV is 5.02 metres long, 2.1 metres wide and 1.69 metres tall. Both models feature a wide stance, wedge-shaped profiles and slim horizontal lighting elements at the front. One of the most unusual design features is the large windscreen. Ceer claims it is the largest windscreen fitted to a private passenger vehicle.
The windscreen uses laminated glass with a reflective coating designed to reduce the amount of solar heat entering the cabin. According to Ceer, the system can help bring cabin temperatures down from 65 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius within 10 minutes in high-heat conditions.
The cars also get forged aluminium wheels with a triangular design and wing-style doors that stretch nearly three metres in length. The doors open in a 60cm arc to create a wider entry area for passengers.

Inside, the Exobot models feature a 48-inch pillar-to-pillar curved 8K display that dominates the dashboard. A 10.4-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch rear display are also part of the cabin setup. The cars come with steer-by-wire technology and rear-wheel steering. Despite the focus on digital technology, CEER has retained physical controls for functions such as gear selection, climate control and volume.
The First Edition models get black and red Nappa leather seats, bespoke floor mats and a First Edition plaque. The headrests also feature a debossed First Edition emblem. Exterior colour options for this version include Harrat Grey and White Musk, along with red brake calipers.
Ceer Exobot: Powertrain and Performance
The Exobot sedan has a claimed NEDC range of 670km and can charge from 10-80 percent in 30 minutes. In its standard high-performance specification, it produces 850hp and 1,000Nm, with a claimed 0-100kph time of 2.6 seconds.
The Exobot SUV also produces 850hp and 1,000Nm. It has a claimed NEDC range of 560km and can accelerate from 0-100kph in 2.9 seconds. The SUV also takes 30 minutes to charge from 10-80 per cent, according to Ceer.
At the top specification, both models produce 1,111hp and 1,500Nm. The sedan can accelerate from 0-100kph in 2.1 seconds and reach a claimed top speed of 250kph. The SUV completes the same sprint in 2.4 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 210kph.
Ceer Plans Five More EVs
Ceer was established in 2022 and has entered into partnerships with companies including BMW, Hyundai and Rimac. The company plans to introduce five more models over the next five years, including midsize and compact vehicles with different powertrain options.
The company is targeting 45 percent local content in its vehicles by 2034. CEER also says its vehicles will be designed, engineered and tested with the requirements of Saudi Arabia and the wider region in mind. The company has not yet announced pricing for the Exobot sedan and SUV or confirmed whether the two models will be launched in India.
