The latest update brings more engine and fuel choices to the petrol-powered SUVs, including turbo-petrol and CNG options, while the electric hatchback gets a longer-range version. Citroen has also introduced a new finance scheme aimed at reducing the EMI burden during the initial years of ownership.

- e-C3X Extended gets a 330km driving range
- Step-up EMI scheme starts at Rs 9,999 for the BasaltX
The SUV also gets a Max naturally aspirated variant priced at Rs 11.62 lakh. This version is also available with a CNG option, giving buyers an alternative to petrol.
The BasaltX range has also been expanded with new variants. The You Turbo variant is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, making it the most affordable turbo-petrol option in the updated range. Meanwhile, the Max naturally aspirated variant costs Rs 11.34 lakh and is also available with CNG. The wider choice of powertrains allows buyers to choose between performance-focused turbo-petrol and efficiency-oriented CNG options.
Citroen e-C3X Extended Gets 330km Range
Citroen has also updated its electric hatchback with the e-C3X Extended. The biggest change is the increased driving range, which now stands at 330km, addressing range concerns that are common among EV buyers. The e-C3X Extended is available under Citroen's Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. Prices start at Rs 6.99 lakh, with an additional battery cost of Rs 2.26 per km.
Alongside the new variants, Citroen is offering a step-up finance scheme with loan tenures of up to seven years. The structure is designed to keep EMI payments lower during the initial years compared with a conventional loan.
Under the scheme, EMIs start at Rs 9,999 for the BasaltX range and Rs 10,555 for the AircrossX range in the first year.
Citroen Expands Powertrain and Buying Options
With the latest update, Citroen is offering more choices across its SUV and electric vehicle line-up. The addition of turbo-petrol, naturally aspirated petrol and CNG options, along with the longer-range e-C3X Extended, gives buyers more flexibility based on their budget and usage requirements.
