Denza has revealed design sketches of the Z9 GT ahead of its scheduled India debut on November 13th 2026. The sketches offer a preview of the electric shooting brake’s exterior design and interior layout. The model is expected to be introduced alongside the Denza D9 luxury MPV as part of the brand’s initial product lineup in India.
The Z9 GT will enter the Indian luxury electric vehicle segment with a shooting brake body style. The company is yet to announce the India-specification details, prices and booking timeline.
Denza Z9 GT Design: What the Sketches Reveal
The design sketches highlight the Z9 GT’s low-slung profile, coupe-like roofline and extended rear section. The electric shooting brake features swept-back headlamps, flush-fitting door handles and large alloy wheels.The roofline extends towards the rear, giving the Z9 GT a shooting brake silhouette while retaining a hatchback-style tailgate.
The interior sketches reveal a three-spoke steering wheel and an eight-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat. The cabin also features a digital-focused layout with multiple displays.
The international-specification model comes with a 50-inch augmented reality head-up display (AR HUD), a 17.3-inch central touchscreen and a separate 13.2-inch display for the front passenger.
The Z9 GT was also spotted on Indian roads without camouflage ahead of its scheduled debut.
Denza Z9 GT: Expected Powertrain & Performance
The international-specification Denza Z9 GT electric version is expected to be equipped with a three-motor setup. It comprises one electric motor at the front and two motors at the rear.Here are the key specifications of the international-specification model:
- Power output: 1,156 hp
- Battery pack: 122.5kWh
- Claimed range: 600km (WLTP)
- 0-100kph acceleration: 2.7 seconds
- Top speed: 270kph
These specifications are based on the international model. The final powertrain configuration and performance figures for India will be confirmed closer to the launch.
Denza Z9 GT: Expected Features
The international-specification Z9 GT comes with several comfort and technology features, including:- Electrically operated doors
- Heated, ventilated and massaging seats
- Rear-wheel steering
- Level 2+ advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)
The India-specification model is expected to retain several of these features, although the final equipment list has not been announced.
Denza India Launch: Expected Price & Rivals
The Denza Z9 GT is expected to be priced between Rs 1.2 crore and Rs 1.5 crore (ex-showroom) in India. The company is yet to confirm the pricing. The Z9 GT will be introduced alongside the Denza D9 luxury MPV, which is also expected to be part of the brand’s initial India lineup.Both models are expected to arrive as completely built units (CBUs). Denza is also expected to establish a dedicated retail network in India, separate from BYD ’s existing dealerships. The November 13 debut will mark Denza’s entry into the Indian luxury vehicle market. The Z9 GT will bring a shooting brake body style to the segment, which currently has limited representation in India.
