JSW MG Motor India Registers Record June Sales of 7,568 Units, EVs Contribute Over 75 Percent
JSW MG Motor India posted its highest-ever monthly wholesale sales in June 2026, reporting a strong 30% year-on-year (YoY) growth. The automaker dispatched 7,568 units during the month, driven by sustained demand for its electric vehicles as well as its internal combustion engine (ICE) models.

The company said the performance reflects the growing acceptance of its diversified product portfolio, which includes both conventional petrol-powered vehicles and new energy vehicles (NEVs).
Electric Vehicles Lead Sales Growth
Electric vehicles remained the biggest contributor to the company's monthly sales, accounting for more than 75% of total wholesales in June 2026. According to JSW MG Motor India, increasing fuel prices, lower running costs of EVs, and geopolitical uncertainties in West Asia have continued to strengthen consumer interest in electric mobility.
Company Sees Strong Demand Across Portfolio
Commenting on the sales performance, Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director, JSW MG Motor India, said the company achieved its best-ever wholesale performance in June, with EVs continuing to account for a significant share of total sales.
“Our June performance reflects steady demand across the portfolio and marks our highest-ever wholesale performance, with electric vehicles continuing to account for a significant share of our overall sales,” Mehrotra said.
He added that the company is also witnessing encouraging customer response to its ICE models, highlighting the strength of its diverse product lineup.
MG Majestor Deliveries Begin
Alongside its strong sales performance, JSW MG Motor India has also started customer deliveries of the recently launched MG Majestor, the company's new flagship SUV positioned in the D+ SUV segment. The launch is expected to further strengthen the brand's presence in the premium SUV space.
