Mahindra has teased the BE 6 Sporteq Edition EV ahead of its launch on August 15th 2026. This edition will be the third special edition version of the BE 6, following the 'Batman Edition' and 'Formula E Edition.'

Indian automaker Mahindra has released a teaser of a new special edition of its electric SUV, BE 6 Sporteq Edition. The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition will be introduced on August 15th 2026 coinciding with the Indian Independence Day.

The recently teased Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition will be the third special edition of this all-electric SUV, joining the likes of ‘Batman Edition’ and ‘Formula E Edition’. The teaser shared by the automaker showcases this SUV with a triple screen setup on the dashboard consisting of a digital instrument cluster, a digital touchscreen infotainment system and a digital co-passenger display.
Other notable changes visible in the teaser include a new matte silver/grey external paint job with glossy cladding and roof. On the inside the cabin now sports black and tan theme and the centre console appears to have gotten rid of the central spine allowing easier access for controls.
Mechanically the SUV is expected to remain the same; the BE 6 Sporteq Edition is likely to be introduced with the top of the line 79 kWh battery pack Pack Three trim offering a claimed range of up to 682 km on single charge. This version is expected to boast a power output of 282bhp and 380Nm of torque.
The standard Mahindra BE 6 is priced from Rs 18.90 lakh for Pack One 58 kWh to Rs 26.90 lakh for the Pack Three 79 kWh. The upcoming BE 6 Sporteq Edition is expected to be introduced priced around Rs 28.49 lakh and will likely be offered in limited numbers.
