Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition Launched in India: Check What's New
Mahindra has officially expanded its SUV lineup with the introduction of the 2026 Bolero Bold edition. This latest iteration of the long-standing model focuses on aesthetic enhancements, bringing a series of bronze-themed visual updates to both the exterior and the cabin, while maintaining the mechanical configuration that has defined the current generation of the vehicle.
The Bold edition serves as a follow-up to the previous version launched last year, continuing the manufacturer's strategy of offering refreshed styling packages for its utility vehicles. While the visual identity of the SUV has been updated, the core specifications remain unchanged, ensuring the model continues to cater to its established market segment.
Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition: Design & Features
The 2026 Bolero Bold edition is distinguished primarily by its bronze colour treatment. On the exterior, this theme is applied to the front grille, front bumper accents, and the surrounds of the fog lamps. The bronze detailing extends further to the roof rails, door cladding, ORVM caps, and the alloy wheels, providing a cohesive look that differentiates this edition from the standard model.Inside the cabin, Mahindra has introduced functional and comfort-oriented upgrades. A notable addition is the inclusion of a rear-view camera, which enhances visibility and convenience for the driver. The interior atmosphere is further refined with the addition of black leatherette seat upholstery and bespoke floor mats exclusive to the Bold edition, contributing to a more updated feel within the cabin.
Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition: Powertrain & Performance
Under the bonnet, the 2026 Bolero Bold edition retains the reliable 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine. This powertrain is capable of delivering 76hp and 210Nm of peak torque. As with the standard Bolero, the engine is paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox, maintaining the rear-wheel-drive configuration that the model is known for. The manufacturer has confirmed that there are no modifications to the engine or transmission for this specific edition, keeping the performance characteristics consistent with the existing lineup.Log in to post a comment.
