Mahindra appears to be preparing a special edition of the Scorpio-N, called the ‘Edition One’. The SUV has now been spotted at a dealership yard, with a video shared by an Instagram user revealing its exterior and interior changes. The special edition gets a revised front grille, new alloy wheels and a wine-red cabin theme, giving it a distinct appearance compared to the standard model.

- Gets a redesigned front grille and new diamond-cut alloy wheels.
- Features an all-black exterior and wine-red leatherette interior.
- Expected to be based on the recently updated top-spec Z8 variant.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Edition One: Exterior
The Mahindra Scorpio-N Edition One gets a few cosmetic changes over the standard SUV. At the front, it features a redesigned grille with horizontal chrome elements. Unlike the regular model, these chrome elements extend to the lower section of the grille as well.
The special edition also gets new diamond-cut alloy wheels. Other visual additions include ‘Edition One’ badges placed below the outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs) and on the C-pillar.
The SUV spotted in the video features an all-black exterior colour scheme, which further adds to its distinctive appearance.
Scorpio-N Edition One: Interior
The biggest change inside the cabin is the new wine-red leatherette treatment. It is visible on the dashboard, door panels and seat covers, giving the interior a different look from the standard Scorpio-N. The model spotted at the dealership features a middle-row bench seat. Other visible features include a panoramic sunroof, push-button start and an electrically adjustable driver's seat.
Based on the features and equipment visible in the video, the Edition One appears to be based on the top-spec version of the Scorpio-N lineup.
The special edition also appears to get the updates introduced with the recently refreshed Mahindra Scorpio-N. The update brought several changes to the Z8 trims, including a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster.
Other additions include 65W Type-C charging ports for front and rear occupants, along with UV and IR-cut glass for the windows. Interestingly, the earlier Scorpio-N offered 65W Type-C fast charging on the top-spec Z8 L variants, but the feature was limited to second-row occupants.
Level 2 ADAS features continue to remain exclusive to the Z8 L variant. The Edition One spotted in the video also appears to have an ADAS radar, suggesting that it could get some of these driver assistance features.
However, Mahindra has not officially announced the special edition or confirmed its complete feature list yet.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Edition One: Expected Engine
The SUV is likely to continue with the existing 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options. Both engines are available with manual and automatic gearbox options. The diesel engine is also offered in two different states of tune, with the lower-powered version available on the lower variants.
Mahindra has not yet announced the launch date, pricing or availability details of the Scorpio-N Edition One. More information is expected once the company officially reveals the special edition.
