MG Motor India is gearing up to launch the Majestor in India today. The automaker says that the Majestor is a D+ segment SUV. The company says it will be longer, wider and taller than other vehicles in this space, placing it above the D-segment SUVs currently on sale in the country.
Design
According to the teasers shared by the automaker, The Majestor follows a box-shaped SUV layout similar to the MG Gloster. The front shows a large grille and split headlamps. From the side, visible elements include body cladding, roof rails, dual-tone alloy wheels and dark treatment for the mirrors and window surrounds. The rear section is expected to feature connected tail lamps and dual exhaust outlets. Its appearance is close to the Maxus D90 sold in several overseas markets.
Interior and features
The cabin has not been shown yet. Based on other MG products, the Majestor may use a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument display and a panoramic sunroof. Features that could be offered include ventilated and heated seats, a powered driver seat with massage function, wireless phone charging, multi-zone climate control and an electrically operated tailgate.
