The Indian division of the Japanese automaker Nissan has commenced with the deliveries of the Gravite in India. The Gravite is the latest offering from Nissan India and it is currently also the most affordable MPV in the market. The Nissan Gravite was launched in the country last month with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 5.65 lakh. The Gravite expands Nissan’s current portfolio in India which includes the likes of Magnite and X-Trail.
The Nissan Gravite is a MPV which shares its underpinnings with the Renault Triber and is available in multiple variants. Nissan is offering the Gravite in five exterior colour options - Forest Green, Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Metallic Grey and Storm White.
In terms of design, the Gravite features Nissan’s V-Motion grille along with slim headlamps with integrated daytime running lights. The bonnet carries Gravite lettering, while the bumper gets silver accents and a skid plate-style design element. On the sides, it is equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels and roof rails. The rear section includes LED tail lamps connected by a chrome strip and Gravite badging integrated into the tail lamp cluster.
On the inside, the Gravite is offered with a seven-seat layout. The cabin features a dual-tone black and white theme along with suede inserts and contrast stitching. A digital instrument cluster sits behind the steering wheel, while the centre console houses an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Feature highlights include wireless charging, a dual dash camera, JBL sound system, air purifier, rain-sensing wipers and multiple storage compartments. The MPV also gets three-row air-conditioning vents and a dual-tone dashboard with wood-finish trim.
