Skoda Kylaq gets benefits of up to Rs 50,000; Valid Till February 28

Skoda Auto India has announced limited-period benefits of up to Rs 50,000 on the subcompact SUV, Kylaq to mark its one year in India and crossing the 50,000-unit sales milestone. These benefits include a 50 percent discount on a one-year Skoda Maintenance Package and an assured gift for buyers. The offer is valid till February 28th 2026.

The Skoda Kylaq has become the brand’s fastest-selling model in India till date, crossing the 50,000 units sales mark in about 13 months. It is also Skoda’s only sub-4-metre offering in the country and it also contributes a large share to the company’s domestic volumes. Skoda has shared that to meet demand for the Kylaq, it has increased production capacity at its Chakan manufacturing facility by nearly 30 percent.

The Skoda Kylaq range in India starts from Rs 7.59 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market the Kylaq competes with models such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and others. The sub-4M segment in the country generates high volume demand and despite the presence of well established players, the Kylaq has carved a niche for itself.

The Kylaq gets a single engine and two transmission options. It houses the 1.0L 3-cyl TSI turbo-petrol engine which produces 113.42bhp and 178Nm of torque. This engine is available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options. The Kylaq is currently the entry-level model from Skoda in India and it shares its underpinnings with its siblings like the Kushaq and Slavia, the MQB-A0 IN platform. It also boasts 5-star Bharat NCAP safety ratings.
