Rs Skoda Auto India has announced prices for the new Slavia, with deliveries set to begin next week. The updated sedan is available in six variants - Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. Each trim gets a different mix of features, while engine and gearbox choices also vary across the range.

The new Slavia continues to be based on Skoda's MQB-A0-IN platform and retains the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines. However, the updated model gets several new features, including a rear-seat massage function, 360-degree camera and an updated infotainment system with an AI-powered voice assistant. Skoda Slavia Classic

The Classic is the entry point to the new Slavia range and is available only with the 1.0 TSI engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Key features include six airbags, more than 25 safety features, Climatronic automatic AC, rear defogger and a 17.7 cm touchscreen infotainment system. It rides on R15 steel wheels with covers. For buyers looking for the basic Slavia experience with the core safety and comfort features, the Classic serves as the starting point.

Skoda Slavia Classic+

The Classic+ builds on the entry-level variant with several additional convenience features. It gets an electric sunroof, R16 alloy wheels, all-LED lighting, rain-sensing wipers and an auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror. It is also the first variant to offer the new 1.0 TSI with the 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This variant could appeal to buyers who want more convenience without moving too high up the range.

Skoda Slavia Signature

The Signature brings a significant jump in technology. It gets a 20.32 cm Virtual Cockpit, a larger 25.6 cm touchscreen infotainment system, AI Assistant powered by Google Cloud, connected-car features and a rear-view camera. It is available with both the 1.0 TSI 6-speed manual and the new 1.0 TSI 8-speed automatic. R16 alloy wheels are also part of the package.

Skoda Slavia Sportline

As the name suggests, the Sportline adds a sportier appearance to the Slavia while retaining much of the technology offered on the Signature. It gets R16 Ving Black alloy wheels and a 360-degree Area View camera. The cabin continues with the 25.6 cm Virtual Cockpit, 25.6 cm touchscreen infotainment system, AI Assistant and connected features. The Sportline is available with the 1.0 TSI manual and 1.0 TSI automatic.

The Prestige is positioned as the most feature-loaded variant before the Monte Carlo. It gets a larger 26.03 cm Virtual Cockpit, 360-degree camera, R16 Savio dual-tone alloy wheels, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats and a segment-first rear-seat massage function.
This is also the first variant in the range to get the more powerful 1.5 TSI engine, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic. The 1.0 TSI manual and automatic options are also available.

The Monte Carlo sits at the top of the Slavia range and adds sportier exterior styling to the Prestige's equipment list. It gets Monte Carlo badging, red exterior accents, blacked-out elements and R16 Savio Black alloy wheels. It also retains the premium features of the Prestige variant. The Monte Carlo is available with the 1.0 TSI paired with the 8-speed automatic, as well as the 1.5 TSI with the 7-speed DSG.

Skoda Slavia Facelift: Engine and Gearbox Options

The Slavia continues with two petrol engines. The 1.0 TSI is available with a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed torque converter automatic. The latter is a new addition to the Slavia and is positioned as a more conventional automatic option. The 1.5 TSI continues with a 7-speed DSG automatic and is available from the Prestige variant onwards. The 1.5 TSI versions also get rear disc brakes.
