Suzuki GSX-10R: Engine and Hardware
The 2027 Suzuki GSX-10R is powered by a 999cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, inline-four engine based on the manufacturer's K5 engine platform. This motor produces 152PS at 11,000rpm and 106Nm of peak torque at 9,250rpm. Suzuki has also revised the engine's oil passages to improve reliability.
The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and housed in an aluminium twin-spar frame. The motorcycle gets a newly designed aluminium swingarm, fully adjustable front suspension and an 18-litre fuel tank.
In terms of dimensions, the GSX-10R has a kerb weight of 214kg and a seat height of 810mm.
Suzuki GSX-10R: Features and Electronics
One of the biggest updates to the GSX-10R is its electronic rider assistance package. It gets Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), which includes 15 electronic control systems.
A new slide control system has been introduced to detect lateral movement of the rear wheel while cornering and adjust electronic intervention accordingly. The motorcycle also gets brake hold control, which maintains braking pressure when the bike is stationary on level ground or a downhill slope.
Other features include cornering ABS, launch control, cruise control, a colour TFT instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity and a USB Type-C charging port.
Suzuki SV-7S: Engine and Hardware
The new Suzuki SV-7S brings back the manufacturer's SV nameplate with a 645cc, liquid-cooled, 90-degree V-twin engine. It produces 73.4PS at 8,500rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6,800rpm.
The engine gets ride-by-wire throttle control, a revised airbox and a tuned 2-into-1 exhaust system. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The SV-7S uses a tubular steel trellis frame. Suspension duties are handled by 41mm telescopic front forks with 125mm of travel and a rear monoshock offering 129mm of travel.
The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 200kg and gets a 14-litre fuel tank.
Suzuki SV-7S: Features and India Launch
In terms of features, the SV-7S gets three riding modes, three-level traction control and ABS. It also features a 4.2-inch colour TFT instrument display with smartphone connectivity through Suzuki Ride Connect+.
The motorcycle gets LED lighting across the front and rear, adding to its modern roadster design. Suzuki has not announced the prices of either motorcycle. The SV-7S is expected to reach select international markets in 2027, but its India launch has not been confirmed. The company has also not shared any India-specific details for the 2027 GSX-10R.
