Tata Motors Records Over 20 Percent Growth in Car Sales for October 2026

Tata Motors has revealed monthly passenger vehicle sales data for October 2026. Sharing this update the automaker outlined that last month Tata Motors managed to sell a total of over seventy three thousand units of passenger vehicles in India. The sales details shared by Tata Motors offered an interesting insight; highlighting that last month the company experienced a near seventy five percent growth in electric car sales.

In October 2026 Tata Motors managed to sell a total of 75,426 units of passenger vehicles, this includes passenger vehicles sold domestically plus exported from India. This sales figure marks a rise in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 14,131 units which further translates into 23.05 percent growth in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In October 2025 Tata Motors posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 61,295 units.

Tata Motors Domestic Monthly Car Sales: October 2026

Last month Tata Motors managed to sell 73,894 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market. This sales figure marks a rise in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 12,760 units which further translates into 20.87 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In October 2025 Tata Motors posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 61,134 units.

Tata Motors Monthly Electric Car Sales: October 2026

In October 2026 Tata Motors managed to sell a total of 16,244 units of electric passenger vehicles(Domestically Sales + Exports). This sales figure indicates an increase in year-on-year electric passenger vehicles sales by 6,958 units which further translates into 74.93 percent growth in year-on-year total monthly electric passenger vehicle sales. In October 2025 Tata Motors had posted electric vehicle sales of 9,286 units.

Tata Motors Monthly Car Exports: October 2026

Last month Tata Motors exported 1,532 units of passenger vehicles from India. This indicates an increase in year-on-year monthly passenger vehicle exports by 1,371 units which further translates into 851.55 percent year-on-year growth in monthly passenger vehicle exports. In October 2025 Tata Motors exported 161 units of passenger vehicles from India.
