Audi India Price Hike: April 2026
Audi India has revised prices across its lineup by up to 2 percent starting April 1st 2026. This will be the brand’s first price adjustment of the year. The company has linked the hike to higher input costs and currency fluctuations. The increase will be applicable across its entire model range sold in India.
Mercedes-Benz Price Hike: April 2026
Mercedes-Benz India has confirmed a price increase of around 2 percent across its model range, effective April 2026. This is the second time that the automaker has increased the prices of its products in the country in 2026, following an earlier hike implemented in January. Mercedes-Benz has attributed this recent price hike to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates, particularly the weakening of the rupee against the euro, along with rising input costs.
Tata Motors Price Hike: April 2026
Indian automaker Tata Motors has increased the prices of its internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. The company has implemented an average increase of about 0.5 percent of its petrol, diesel and CNG models from April 1st. This price hike has impacted the entire ICE portfolio of Tata Motors, which includes hatchbacks, sedans and SUVs. Electric vehicles (EVs) from Tata Motors will remain unaffected by this price hike. The company stated that the increase is aimed at partially offsetting rising input costs, a factor that continues to impact the automotive sector.
MG Motor Price Hike: April 2026
MG Motor India has also implemented a price hike of up to 2 percent across its portfolio from April 2026. This price hike has been implemented on models such as the Comet EV, Windsor EV, Hector, Astor, ZS EV and Gloster. However, vehicles retailed via the company’s premium retail chain, MG Select which includes models like the Cyberster and M9 EV remain unaffected by this price hike. The company stated that the decision is aimed at mitigating the impact of rising input and operational costs.
Apart from these automakers, Maruti Suzuki has also expressed concerns regarding rising input costs which the company has stated that they are absorbing as of now. However, Maruti Suzuki has also highlighted that soon it might pass on this cost to its customers in India. So expect a price hike alert from Maruti Suzuki soon.
