Toyota Glanza Facelift India Launch on October 14: Here's What to Expect

Toyota is gearing up to introduce the Glanza facelift in India. The Toyota Glanza facelift is expected to make its India debut on October 14th 2026. The Glanza is Toyota's version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and shares its platform and mechanical components with the Maruti hatchback. The upcoming update is expected to follow the same broad approach, with changes primarily focused on styling and equipment. The Baleno facelift is scheduled to debut in India on September 5th 2026.

The facelifted Glanza is expected to get a revised front-end design. The changes could include a new grille and redesigned front bumper, giving the hatchback a sharper appearance. The headlamp design is expected to remain broadly familiar, although Toyota could introduce minor changes to the lighting elements. The side profile is also likely to see limited changes, with new alloy wheel designs. The rear is also expected to get subtle changes including a redesigned bumper and minor cosmetic updates.

The Glanza facelift is expected to get additional features like new upholstery and trim elements, wireless charging, a bigger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, HUD and connected-car features and more.

There are no major changes expected under the bonnet. The ongoing Glanza uses a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with AMT and manual gearbox options. More details regarding the powertrain will be clear following the debut of Baleno facelift.

The current Glanza gets 6-airbags as standard, ESC, ABS with EBD and other safety features. It is unlikely to get ADAS.

The current Toyota Glanza is offered in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 6.73 lakh and Rs 9.99 lakh. The 2026 Glanza facelift is expected to witness a slight price bump and can be introduced in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 6.75 to Rs 10.25 lakh.
