Toyota Teases Interior of Upcoming SUV Ahead of Global Debut on Feb 10
Toyota has released a new teaser image that focuses on the interior of an upcoming SUV planned for its global lineup. The image is taken from the third row of seats, confirming that the vehicle will have a three-row seating layout.
Most details in the image are visible only after adjusting the brightness. The cabin layout shows a wide dashboard with a layered design and a floating centre console placed horizontally.
Dashboard and passenger features
The driver’s area appears to include a digital instrument cluster paired with a multi-function steering wheel that uses physical buttons. Passengers in the second row are provided with a separate climate control panel positioned behind the centre console.
Ambient lighting elements are visible along the dashboard and door panels. The interior also features a large glass roof, which is expected to improve natural light inside the cabin.
Context from earlier exterior teaser
Toyota had earlier shared a teaser showing the rear of the SUV. It revealed a full-width LED light strip, roof rails and a boxy shape. That image focused on the vehicle’s size and shape, while the latest teaser highlights the interior and seating layout instead.
What remains unknown
Toyota has not confirmed whether the SUV is an all-new model, a replacement for an existing nameplate or a facelift. Details about the powertrain, platform and market positioning have also not been disclosed. Based on the interior layout and proportions seen so far, the SUV is expected to fall into the mid-size or larger category.
