TVS iQube Electric Scooter Crosses 10 Lakh Units Production Milestone
Indian automaker TVS has announced that the iQube electric scooter has crossed the 10 lakh (one million) units production milestone. The milestone unit of iQube rolled off the production line at the company's manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, nearly six years after the electric scooter made its market debut in 2020.
The milestone comes as the TVS iQube continues to remain one of the highest-selling electric scooters in the country. Over the years, the company has expanded the model range with multiple battery pack options, additional features and higher riding range variants to cater to a wider set of buyers.
Sharing this update TVS has stated that the iQube customers have collectively covered more than 14.94 billion kilometres since the scooter's launch. According to the company, this has helped prevent approximately 522,969 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, an environmental impact it says is equivalent to planting nearly 20.9 million trees.
The electric scooter is manufactured in India for both domestic and international markets and forms a key part of TVS Motor's electric mobility portfolio. The company has also strengthened its retail presence, with the iQube now available through more than 3,300 sales and service touchpoints spread across over 3,000 cities.

The TVS iQube is offered in multiple variants, including the standard iQube, iQube S and the range-topping iQube ST. Buyers can choose from battery packs ranging between 2.2 kWh and 5.3 kWh, depending on the variant.
The scooter comes equipped with features such as a fully digital TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, OTA (over-the-air) software updates, ride statistics, reverse assist, regenerative braking and multiple riding modes on select variants. The top-spec iQube ST also offers a larger touchscreen display, voice assist and an extended certified riding range.
Sudarshan Venu, Chairman, TVS Motor Company said, “The rollout of one million TVS iQubes reflects the scale at which electric mobility is becoming part of everyday life in India. The milestone is built on years of investment in engineering, innovation and manufacturing capabilities that have enabled us to build world-class electric mobility solutions designed and manufactured in India for the world. As India progresses towards the vision of Viksit Bharat, it has a unique opportunity to emerge as a global leader in the future of mobility. At TVS Motor, we remain committed to advancing this vision through exciting and sustainable mobility solutions that strengthen India’s position as a global mobility powerhouse."
