BSA, originally established in 1861 as the Birmingham Small Arms Company, began manufacturing motorcycles in 1910. By the 1950s, BSA had grown into the largest motorcycle maker in the world, earning a reputation for building reliable and affordable bikes. The Gold Star series, first introduced in the 1930s, became one of BSA's most popular models, known for its excellent performance and design.

Globally, BSA Gold Star 650 is powered by a 652cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine ated with a 5 speed gear transmission with double overhead camshafts (DOHC), 4 valves and twin spark plugs. It produces 44 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 55 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.

For suspension, it features features 41mm telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear, with 5-step preload adjustability. Weighing 213 kg, the Gold Star is built to offer both stability and responsiveness.

The motorcycle comes with 18 inch front and 17 inch rear wire-spoke alloy wheels, fitted with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tires. The braking system includes a 320mm front disc with a Brembo twin-piston floating caliper and a 255mm rear disc with a Brembo single piston floating caliper, both fitted with ABS.

The Gold Star 650 has a 12 L fuel tank and a fuel efficiency of 25 kmph, making it ideal for long rides. Its dimensions include a 1,425mm wheelbase, 780mm seat height and a 26.5-degree rake.
