Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono Launched In India For Rs 16.50 Lakh

VW Group owned Italian superbike manufacturer Ducati has today launched its most powerful single cylinder motorcycle, the Hypermotard 698 Mono in India with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 16.50 lakh. The company also kicked off bookings for the same and will commence deliveries for the Hypermotard 698 Mono by the end of July.

The Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono motorcycle has been launched in India. Along with being the most powerful single cylinder motorcycle in the company’s lineup, it is also the most powerful single cylinder motorcycle in the world.

The Hypermotard 698 Mono motorcycle houses a single cylinder 659 cc engine which churns out 77.5 bhp and 63 Nm of torque. It has a fuel capacity of 12 liters. Underpinning this motorcycle is the tubular steel Trellis frame with aluminium double-sided swingarm. It gets four riding modes - Sport, Road, Urban and Wet. It gets 3 power modes on three power levels. It gets four level adjustable ABS cornering. Other riding support systems include - Ducati wheelie control, Ducati traction control, Ducati power launch, tapered aluminium handlebars, engine brake control, 3.8-inch LCD instrument cluster and LED lighting system with DRLs.

On the design front it features double exhausts mounted on sides of the tail, LED headlight with double “C” light design, 5-spoke alloy wheels with a “Y” design, high front mudguard, sharp tail and high & flat seat.
