Royal Enfield’s Big-Engined Adventure Bike, Himalayan 750 Spotted Testing

Royal Enfield's Himalayan 750, spotted testing in Europe, is expected to feature a 750cc parallel-twin engine, a new chassis, and higher-mounted exhausts. While maintaining the Himalayan 450's design cues, its stance suggests a tourer focus. It's anticipated to produce over 50 bhp and 60 Nm torque with adjustable USD forks and a monoshock. A potential EICMA 2025 debut is expected for this premium Royal Enfield model, likely priced over Rs 4 lakh.

Indian automaker, Royal Enfield has been spotted testing its big-engined iteration of its adventure bike, the Himalayan somewhere in Europe recently. The Himalayan 750 is expected to boast a 750cc parallel-twin engine. Additionally, it will be equipped with a new chassis and exhausts that will be mounted higher up, compared to the 450cc Himalayan.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is expected to make more than 50 bhp with a peak torque of approximately 60 Nm. While the Himalayan monicker is synonymous with adventure riding, the Himalayan 750 has altered it with its stance. The Himalayan 750 looks to be more of a tourer rather than an adventure bike. It boasts a similar design as that of Himalayan 450 with a round headlight which is a part of Royal Enfield’s identity, a tall windscreen, semi-fairing and thick tyres.
Beneath the exterior, a newly designed frame and subframe are supported by an upside-down (USD) front fork and a monoshock rear suspension system. Visual inspection suggests that both the front and rear suspension units offer adjustability. The prototype observed featured 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels. It is anticipated that Royal Enfield will provide tubeless wire-spoke wheels as an option for the production model. However, there are chances that the Himalayan 750 gets an option of 21-inch wheels which are more adventure-centric along with adventure accessories.
The 750cc bike from the Eicher-owned Royal Enfield is expected to make a debut at the 2025 EICMA which is expected to be held later this year. This Royal Enfield bike would not come cheap and can cost over Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom).
