2025 MINI Cooper Convertible Launched, With Production To Start Later This Year

The new MINI Cooper Convertible C and S launched are set to join the updated MINI lineup by next year as production will begin later this year. Production will take place at MINI's Plant in Oxford, resuming operations there after a nine-year gap, with deliveries expected to begin in early 2025. MINI Cooper Convertible C is priced at £26,200 (approx. Rs26,60,200) and MINI Cooper Convertible S is priced at £30,600 (approx. Rs 30,92,600)

Engine Options and Performance

MINI Cooper Convertible C is powered by a 1.5L, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 161 bhp and and 250 Nm of torque mated with a DCT gearbox that helps it in going 0 to 100 kmph in 8.2 seconds. While the MINI Cooper Convertible S is powered by a 2.0L, four cylinder turbo petrol engine that generates 201 bhp and 300 Nm of torque mated with a DCT gearbox, it can go from 0-100 kmph in 6.9 seconds.

Design Features

The new MINI Cooper Convertible retains its classic look with round headlights but gets minor cosmetic changes on the outside like a refreshed front grille and a compact body. In terms of dimensions it is 3,879 mm in length, 1,431 mm in height and 1,744 mm in width.

Roof and Luggage Capacity

The car features a fully automatic soft top that opens in 18 seconds while driving at speeds up to 30 kmph. When the roof is down, the luggage compartment holds 160 liters, expanding to 215 liters with the roof closed. A wind deflector is included to minimize wind noise.

Trim Levels

The new MINI Cooper Convertible will be available in three trims: Classic, Exclusive, and Sport.

On the interior new MINI Cooper Convertible has got a 9.5” touchscreen display at the centre, it features information like navigation and climate controls for easy access.
