2025 MINI Cooper Convertible Launched, With Production To Start Later This Year
The 2025 MINI Cooper Convertible has been launched, marking its return to production at the Oxford plant after nine years. The new model offers two engine options: the Cooper Convertible C with a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine and the Cooper Convertible S with a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine. Pricing starts at £26,200 for the C and £30,600 for the S.

Engine Options and Performance
MINI Cooper Convertible C is powered by a 1.5L, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 161 bhp and and 250 Nm of torque mated with a DCT gearbox that helps it in going 0 to 100 kmph in 8.2 seconds. While the MINI Cooper Convertible S is powered by a 2.0L, four cylinder turbo petrol engine that generates 201 bhp and 300 Nm of torque mated with a DCT gearbox, it can go from 0-100 kmph in 6.9 seconds.Design Features
The new MINI Cooper Convertible retains its classic look with round headlights but gets minor cosmetic changes on the outside like a refreshed front grille and a compact body. In terms of dimensions it is 3,879 mm in length, 1,431 mm in height and 1,744 mm in width.Roof and Luggage Capacity
The car features a fully automatic soft top that opens in 18 seconds while driving at speeds up to 30 kmph. When the roof is down, the luggage compartment holds 160 liters, expanding to 215 liters with the roof closed. A wind deflector is included to minimize wind noise.Trim Levels
The new MINI Cooper Convertible will be available in three trims: Classic, Exclusive, and Sport.- Classic Trim: Features include a back-trimmed front grille and 16 inch alloy wheels.
- Exclusive Trim: Offers additional luxury with unique colors and materials.
- Sport Trim (JCW version): Sports a performance-oriented design with 18 inch alloy wheels.
