2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S Makes Global Debut

German sports and luxury carmaker Porsche has globally unveiled the 2025 model year 911 Carrera S. This latest iteration of the 911 Carrera S is slotted between the 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera GTS in the company's product lineup. The company has introduced the 2025 911 Carrera S in Coupe and Cabriolet avatars. It also gets upgraded features, performance, and standard equipment list. The company has also commenced bookings for the same.

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S houses a 3.0L twin-turbocharged boxer engine which generates a peak power output of 473.43 bhp and 530 Nm of torque. This latest iteration of the 911 Carrera S produces 29.58 bhp more than its predecessor. The company stated that it has bumped the power of this car through the use of redesigned turbochargers and an updated charge-air cooling system. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 308 kmph. This engine comes mated to a 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The list of standard features in this car includes 20/21-inch wheels, a sports exhaust system with silver tailpipes,and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+). The braking system includes red brake calipers and discs measuring 408 mm at the front and 380 mm at the rear. The model comes with Matrix LED headlights and a wireless smartphone charger. Other available features include a front axle lift system, HD-Matrix LED headlights and the Sport Chrono package with a track-focused application.

The list of optional features include a ceramic composite brake system and a sports suspension that lowers the ride height by 10 mm. Rear-wheel steering and adjustments to the front axle kinematics are also available.

On the inside the 2025 911 Carrera S features leather upholstery as standard. Folding rear seats are available in the Coupe version at no additional cost, while the Cabriolet version comes with a rear seat system. Optional features on the inside include an additional leather trim and contrast stitching.
