Kia Syros Production Kicks Off In India Ahead Of Auto Expo 2025

Korean automaker Kia has today announced that it has commenced production of its compact SUV, Syros in India. The company unveiled the Syros last month and is scheduled to be showcased at the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2025.

Kia shared that it has kicked off the production of the Syros SUV at its Anantapur in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The first ‘Made in India’ Syros rolled out from the production line at this facility in presence of Kia India executives and management.

The Kia Syros is built on the company’s K1 platform. It boasts 20 active and passive safety features including 6-airbags, ESC, Hill Start Assist and Vehicle Stability Management. It also features Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. The Syros also gets Kia Connect Diagnostics (KCD) for real-time vehicle diagnostics and the Kia Advance Total Care (KATC) program, which notifies customers about maintenance needs.

The Syros features the Kia Signature Digital Tiger Face and is equipped with starmap LED lighting and R-inch 17 alloy wheels. The cabin includes a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a 30-inch display encompassing the instrument cluster and infotainment system, ambient lighting, ventilated seats and more.

The Kia Syros made its global debut in India last month on December 19th 2024. The company has shared that it will be revealing the price of the Syros on February 1st 2025. Customers looking to experience the new Syros can visit the Kia Pavilion, at Auto Expo 2025. The bookings for the Syros are already underway and the company has already bagged 10,258 bookings for the same. The Syros can be booked by visiting authorized Kia dealerships across the country and also online via Kia India’s official website.
