Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV Becomes Safer With Level 2 ADAS, New Z8T Variant Added To The Lineup: Check Details

Indian automaker popular for its SUV, Mahindra has announced the addition of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to the Scorpio-N SUV. Sharing this update the company revealed that new L2 ADAS features are now available in the top of the line Z8L variants of this SUV. With this the company also announced the addition of a new Z8T variant in the lineup.

Mahindra Scorpio N Now Safer with Level 2 ADAS

For a long time Mahindra has offered the Level 2 ADAS safety features in the likes of XUV700, XUV 3XO, Thar Roxx, BE 6 and XEV 9e and its omission was pointed dearly missed in one of the most popular products, i.e. the Scorpio-N. It seems like Mahindra has paid heed to the customer demand and has incorporated L2 ADAS in the Scorpio-N.

The key features included in the Scorpio-N with L2 ADAS are - Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Smart Pilot Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and High Beam Assist. Additional functions such as Speed Limit Assist and Front Vehicle Start Alert are also included. Speed Limit Assist provides speed-related warnings based on applicable limits, while Front Vehicle Start Alert notifies drivers through visuals, chimes, and haptic feedback when a stationary front vehicle begins moving.

With this safety update Mahindra has also launched a new Z8T variant of the Scorpio-N. This variant is positioned between the Z8 and Z8L models in the SUV’s line-up. The information shared by the company highlights that the Z8T variant of the Scorpio-N features - R18 diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 12-speaker Sony-branded audio system, front camera, front parking sensors, a 6-way powered driver seat, electronic parking brake, ventilated front seats, and an auto-dimming IRVM.

Launched first back in June 2022 the Scorpio-N was introduced as the company’s new flagship SUV and it came out of the gates with flying colours, breaking all records for bookings in India. Now as this SUV turns three in the Indian market the company has shared that the company has managed to sell over 2.5 Lakh units of the Scorpio-N in the Indian market.

The newly launched Z8T variant of the Scorpio-N has been introduced in both petrol and diesel engine options (MT & AT) in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 20.29 to 24.36 lakh. On the other hand, the L2 ADAS version of this SUV is being offered in 6-seater and 7-seater versions of the Z8L variant which are available in petrol, diesel, MT, AT, 2WD and 4WD configurations. The ADAS version of the Scorpio-N is being offered in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 21.35 to 25.42 lakh.
