Move Over Bugatti: This Italian Hypercar Packs A 2,127bhp V12 Punch

Giamaro Katla is powered by a 7.0L quad-turbocharged V12 engine. The top-spec variant produces 2,127bhp and 2,008Nm of torque, while a lower variant offers 1,647bhp and 1,556Nm. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential and a seven-speed gearbox. The company is also working on an 11-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Giamaro Katla sits on a carbon fibre monocoque chassis that weighs 170kg, contributing to a total weight of 1,450kg. The car has a front-to-rear weight distribution of 42:58. The suspension setup uses solid aluminium alloy components with electronically adjustable dampers. Additonally, it gets automatic ride height adjustment as well.

The Katla is 4,791mm long with a wheelbase of 2,750mm. The design includes gullwing doors, a vented bonnet and LED lighting at the front and rear. The rear section features C-shaped LED taillights and a diffuser. An active rear spoiler adjusts for downforce and can act as an air brake. The vehicle rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres. Brakes include 420mm discs with 10-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers.

The cabin layout is described as aviation-themed, using textiles, aluminium, and carbon fibre. It includes a digital instrument cluster, infotainment screen, push-button gear selector and a flat-bottom steering wheel. There are five drive modes available: Standard, Wet, Performance, Top Speed and Individual.
