New Bentley Flying Spur To Get 771 Bhp Hybrid Powertrain
Bentley Motors is set to unveil a new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain for its Flying Spur sedan, boasting a 4.0 L twin-turbo V8 engine combined with an electric motor. The powertrain delivers 771 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque, enabling the vehicle to travel up to 72 km on electric power alone. The hybrid powertrain offers 148 bhp and 100 Nm of torque more than the current W12 engine, with improved power and torque across the rev range. Bentley plans to release more details on the new Flying Spur soon.

New Bentley Flying Spur To Get 771 Bhp Hybrid Powertrain, Details Revealed
Luxury automaker Bentley Motors has announced the introduction of a new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain for its Flying Spur sedan. This new powertrain will be featured in the upcoming model, which will replace the current version introduced in 2019.
Sharing this update the company revealed that the new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain combines a 4.0 L twin-turbo V8 engine with an electric motor putting out a combined power output of 771 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque. According to the company this powertrain will allow the vehicle to operate on electric power alone for up to 72 kms. This powertrain emits less than 40 g/km of CO2. The vehicle's overall range exceeds 804 kms with a full tank of fuel and fully charged battery pack.
Sharing details of the hybrid powertrain the company stated that its new hybrid powertrain generates about 148 bhp and 100 Nm of torque more than the current W12 engine in the Flying Spur Speed.
The company states that the combination of the V8 engine and electric motor provides improved power and torque across the full rev range, with strong acceleration from low speeds and increased performance at higher speeds. The exhaust system has been developed to emphasize the engine's sound without artificial enhancements. Sharing this update the company has also stated that it will be releasing more information related to the new Flying Spur in a timely manner.
Bentley currently offers Continental GT, Flying Spur and its iconic SUV the Bentayga in the Indian market. So this upcoming version of the Flying Spur with a hybrid powertrain is expected to arrive in India in due course of time.
