Nissan Magnite Prices Set To Increase By 2 Percent Soon: Report

Japanese automaker Nissan introduced the facelifted version of its compact SUV Magnite earlier this year. The company introduced the facelifted version of the Magnite without any change in starting price which remained at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company retained the same price tag but this was the introductory price of this SUV which was limited for initial few units.

Now multiple media reports have surfaced highlighting that the prices of the Magnite are set to rise by 2 percent in the Indian market as the introductory pricing which was reserved for the first 10,000 units is coming to an end. Following this price hike the ex-showroom pricing of the Magnite is anticipated to begin from Rs 6.12 lakh.

The Nissan Magnite is a very crucial product for the company in the Indian market and in the last few years it has played a pivotal role in the domestic market. For a long time it was the sole offering from the company in India until the new X-Trail was launched.

The facelifted Magnite is offered in the Indian market with two engine options. One is the 1.0 L 3-cyl naturally aspirated petrol engine which produces 71.01 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, this engine comes mated to a 5-speed MT or the 5-speed AMT. The other engine on offer is the 1.0L 3-cyl turbo petrol engine which produces a peak power output of 98.63 bhp and 160 Nm of torque, this engine comes mated to a 5-speed MT or a CVT.
