Porsche Macan with Design Package Launched at Rs 96.05 Lakh in India; First 30 Buyers to Get Add-ons at No Extra Cost

Porsche launched Macan SUV in India featuring a limited-run Design Package priced at Rs 96.05 lakh (ex-showroom), the package is currently available at no additional cost for the first 30 customers. After this initial batch, the package will be offered at a premium of Rs 7.5 lakh. It is also available as an add-on for existing Macan owners.

The Design Package brings several cosmetic changes to the Macan. On the outside, the SUV gets LED puddle lamps, tinted LED tail-lamps, coloured hub caps and a new exhaust setup. The Sports Design Package—part of the bundle—adds body, coloured aprons and side skirts and black-painted ORVMs. On the Inside, the SUV features a black gear knob and dashboard-door trim elements finished in carbon fibre under the Carbon Interior Package.

There are no mechanical changes with the Design Package. The Macan continues to use the same 2.0L, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 261.3 bhp and 400Nm of torque. Porsche claims that Macan can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.4 seconds, which drops to 6.2 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package and has a top speed of 232 kmph.

At Rs 96.05 lakh, the Porsche Macan is priced higher than its segment rivals in India, which include the Audi Q5 (Rs 68 lakh to Rs 73.79 lakh), BMW X3 (Rs 75.8 lakh to Rs 77.8 lakh), Mercedes-Benz GLC (Rs 78.3 lakh) and Volvo XC60 (Rs 71.90 lakh).
