Shelby American has revived the GT350 name with the introduction of two new models: the GT350 and the GT350R. Both the vehicles will be powered by a supercharged 5.0L V-8 engine, the GT350 producing 810 horsepower and the GT350R producing over 830 horsepower.

Engine and Performance Features

The 2025 Shelby GT350 engine is an upgraded version of the Mustang's 5.0L V-8. In contrast, the previous GT350, produced until 2020, utilized a naturally aspirated 5.2L V-8 known as the Voodoo engine, which generated 526 horsepower. The new GT350 also features a revised suspension and a new exhaust system.
Shelby American will offer a version of the GT350 with 480 horsepower, which does not include the supercharger. Both manual and automatic transmission options are available for the GT350.
