Jaguar is set to debut a new high-performance electric concept sedan during Miami Art Week this December, marking the first of three EV models planned for launch by 2026. This model is part of Jaguar’s ambitious shift toward an all-electric, high-end luxury lineup, intended to compete with brands like Bentley.

Jaguar To Introduce New Concept At Miami Art Week

Jaguar is planning to unveil new electric vehicle concept in December at Miami Art Week, it will be a high-performance, four-door sedan that is likely to rival models like the Porsche Taycan. This vehicle will be the first in a trio of EVs planned by Jaguar and are expected to be introduced by mid-2026.
JLR has invested more than £250 million invested to date ‑ of a total £500 million ‑ for electric vehicle production at the Halewood facility, including several kilometres of new EV production lines and automated robots
Jaguar is preparing for a significant gap in its production line, with the I-Pace and E-Pace models ending production next month. The F-Type, XE, and XF models have already been discontinued, and the F-Pace factory will halt production in early 2025. As reported by AutoCar UK, this leaves Jaguar with no new models ready to bridge the gap until 2026, when its first electric vehicle is expected to launch. This extended pause in production raises questions about the brand’s visibility and market presence over the next two years.
Adrian Mardell, Chief Executive Officer, said, "JLR has delivered a resilient performance in Q2, resulting in a 25 per cent increase in first half profits year‑on‑year. Our teams responded brilliantly to the aluminium supply shortages we experienced in the quarter, so we could deliver as many orders as possible to clients. We continue to make good progress delivering our Reimagine strategy. We have invested £250m so far to prepare our Halewood UK plant for electric vehicle production and with strong global demand for our products, we are well positioned to deliver on our commitments again this financial year."
Jaguar’s future lineup is designed to shift the brand into the high-end segment, competing with luxury brands like Bentley rather than focusing on mass-market EV affordability. This transition reflects a larger strategic decision to appeal to affluent buyers, though it comes with risks. The demand for electric vehicles is currently fluctuating in key markets, particularly in the U.S., which could impact Jaguar’s efforts to reestablish its presence as a luxury EV manufacturer.
In July Jaguar has confirmed production on five model lines will end in 2024, leaving the F-Pace as the last car it’ll build before it begins its electric era from 2025.
