Kia Unveils The EV9 Nightfall Edition At 2025 New York International Auto Show

Additionally, the Kia EV9 Nightfall edition comes equipped with dual electric motor setup sending power to all four wheels. Not only that but the luxury electric SUV is available with six-passenger as well as seven-passenger seating configurations. In addition to that, the exterior enhancements include 20-inch Gloss Black wheels with a dark Kia emblem, 275/50R-20 all-season tires, Gloss Black front grille accents, Gloss Black skid plates, roof rails, outside mirrors, and lower door side sill accents.

Moreover, interior features of the EV9 Nightfall Edition include an exclusive Black color scheme, a seating upholstery pattern with seat stitching, and a black headliner. The six-passenger configuration, with second-row captain’s chairs, is standard. A family-friendly alternative seven-passenger configuration is available, featuring a 60/40 split-fold second-row bench.

Performance enhancements for the Kia EV9 Nightfall Edition include a standard boost function, which increases torque from 600 Nm to 700 Nm. Combined with the dual motors' 373.18 bhp output, the torque increase enables the EV9 Nightfall Edition to achieve a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of 4.5 seconds. The EV9 is equipped with the North American Charging Standard, providing access to the Tesla Supercharger network. An optional adapter allows compatibility with existing Combined Charging System networks.

The EV9 Nightfall Edition expands the Kia EV9 lineup, offering the versatility of a conventionally powered SUV with all-electric power, rapid acceleration, and dynamic handling. The Nightfall Edition will be assembled at Kia’s West Point, Georgia assembly plant.
