VinFast Signs Exclusive Dealership Agreement With Al Mana Holding For Qatar

VinFast Auto has signed an exclusive dealership agreement with Al Mana Holding W.L.L. to distribute its electric vehicles (EVs) in Qatar. Under this agreement, Al Mana Holding will be responsible for the sale and distribution of VinFast EVs in the country. The first dealership is expected to open in Doha in the third quarter of 2024. This facility will offer four models: VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9 as they are released in the market.

Al Mana Holding, established in the 1950s, will serve as the sole distributor for VinFast in Qatar. The agreement between the two companies focuses on providing EVs to the Qatari market, with plans to establish a network of stores and services.

Since the fourth quarter of 2023, VinFast has adjusted its sales strategy, shifting from direct sales to consumers to a model that includes working with established dealerships. This approach aims to increase sales through dealers in the second half of 2024.

In addition to its focus on key markets like the United States, Canada, and Europe, VinFast is also expanding into countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Commenting on the occasion, Ta Xuan Hien, CEO of VinFast Middle East, said: “The agreement with Al Mana Holding W.L.L. marks an important milestone in VinFast’s global market expansion strategy, and specifically, our entry into the Middle East. We are confident that Al Mana Holdings reputation, expertise and market knowledge will enable us to quickly deliver premium products and services to Qatari customers”.
