Tata Motors has launched the facelifted Punch EV in India for 2026, starting at Rs 9.69 lakh, with a Battery-as-a-Service option available from Rs 6.49 lakh. The updated Punch EV features two battery options of 30 kWh and 40 kWh, offering ranges of 365 km and 468 km, respectively. It comes equipped with various drive modes, advanced safety features, and multiple charging options, including fast charging capabilities. The SUV is available in six variants, each offering distinct features that enhance comfort and technology.

Tata Motors launched the facelifted Punch EV in India in 2026 at a starting price of Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric SUV is also available under a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme, with prices starting at Rs 6.49 lakh. Under the BaaS model, customers pay a battery subscription charge of Rs 2.6 per kilometre. Bookings for the updated model are open, and deliveries are scheduled to begin shortly.

Battery Packs, Power and Range
The updated Punch EV is offered with two battery options: 30 kWh and 40 kWh. These replace the earlier 25 kWh and 35 kWh packs. The 30 kWh battery has an ARAI-claimed range of 365 km. The 40 kWh battery has an ARAI-claimed range of 468 km, with a claimed real-world C75 range of up to 355 km.
The 30 kWh variants produce 87.16 bhp and 153.8 Nm of torque. The 40 kWh variants produce 127.39 bhp. The vehicle comes with multiple drive modes and regenerative braking modes.
Charging options include 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW AC chargers. The SUV also supports DC fast charging up to 65 kW, which can charge the battery from 20 to 80 percent in a claimed 26 minutes. Select variants are offered with a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner.
