Kia unveiled the new-generation Seltos in India, with price announcements set for January 2, 2026, and bookings starting tonight. The second-generation model, built on the K3 platform, features updated styling, measuring 4,460 mm in length and sporting a wider grille and new LED designs. Engine options include 1.5L petrol and diesel variants, with various transmission choices. The SUV is available in eight variants, each offering distinct features like advanced technology, enhanced interiors, and optional styling packs. Global production begins December 2025.

Kia showcased the new-generation Seltos at its global premiere in India. The company has confirmed that prices will be announced on January 2, 2026, while bookings open tonight at midnight. According to Kia, global production of the second-generation Seltos will begin in India during December 2025. The model is based on Kia’s K3 platform and is intended for multiple international markets.

2026 Kia Seltos: Exterior Design and Dimensions
The 2026 Kia Seltos carries updated styling across the front, side and rear. It measures 4,460 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width and has a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. At the front, the SUV gets a wider grille and vertically positioned LED daytime running lights. The headlamps now follow a squared layout. The lower bumper includes black cladding with body-coloured inserts. The side profile shows sharper body lines, flush-fitting door handles and thicker wheel arch cladding. A black trim element runs along the window line toward the rear glass. At the rear, the number plate has been repositioned to the bumper. The tail-lights now feature an inverted L-shaped LED design connected across the width. The Seltos also comes with a rear spoiler and 18-inch alloy wheels on higher trims.
2026 Kia Seltos: Engine and Transmission Options
2026 Kia Seltos is offered with 3 engine options and multiple transmissions in India:
- 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol producing 113.4bhp and144 Nm
- 1.5L turbo-petrol producing 157.8bhp and 253Nm
- 1.5L diesel producing 114.4bhp and 250Nm
Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, IVT, 7-speed dual-clutch and a 6-speed automatic.
2026 Kia Seltos: Variant Line-up Overview
The new Seltos is available in eight variants: HTE, HTK, HTX, GTX, HTE (O), HTK (O), HTX (A) and GTX (A). An optional X-Line styling pack will also be available limited to the GTX and GTX (A) variants.
