2026 Toyota Hilux Launched in India at Rs 31.99 Lakh; Gets 4X4 and 4x2 Trims

The Indian division of the Japanese automaker Toyota has launched the 2026 Hilux pickup in India. The 2026 Hilux pickup has been introduced with a revised exterior, an upgraded cabin. The Hilux retains its body-on-frame built and diesel powertrain.

The 2026 Toyota Hilux is available at a starting price of Rs 31.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hilux has been introduced in India in three trims and for the very first time it is being offered with a 4X2 option as well. The 2026 Hilux has been introduced in three variants - GX 4X2 AT, GX 4X4 AT and VX 4X4 AT. Check out the detailed variant-wise prices of the 2026 Toyota Hilux in India:

The 2026 Hilux gets a redesigned front fascia featuring slimmer LED headlamps, new LED daytime running lights, a larger gloss-black grille with prominent Toyota lettering and a revised bumper with a silver skid plate.

The side profile remains familiar but now features new alloy wheels, black wheel arch cladding and black exterior accents. At the rear, the pickup receives revised LED tail lamps, Toyota lettering across the tailgate and an integrated bumper step for easier access to the cargo bed.

Toyota is offering the 2026 Hilux in 6 colour options - Ash, Attitude Black, Emotional Red, Platinum Pearl White Metallic, Sulphur Metallic and Super White.

On the inside, the 2026 Hilux gets a redesigned dashboard with dual 12.3-inch display touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, 8-speaker sound system, LED Headlamps with LED DRLs, rear deck boarding step for easy access, tailgate assist with lockable rear door, diamond-cut alloy wheels, connected car features, MID, TPMS, cruise control, push button start/stop, wireless charging, park assist and more.

Powering the updated Hilux is the familiar 2.8L 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine mated to a 6-speed AT. This engine develops 201.15bhp and 500Nm of torque. The biggest mechanical update is the introduction of 4X2 trim. Now the Hilux is available in India in both 4X2 and 4X4 options.

The 2026 Hilux also gets multi-terrain select and electronic locking differential and electronically controlled four-wheel drive modes - 4 High, 4 Low and 2 High.

The 2026 Toyota Hilux comes equipped with safety features like - 7-airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, panoramic view monitor, front and rear parking sensors, speed-sensing door locks, Emergency Brake Signal, ISOFIX mounts and more.
